STEMspiration: Change the Equation

STEMspiration: Change the Equation is Washington Carnegie Public Library’s after-school program, featuring activities that engage grades K – 12 in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Our goals for this program are simple; we want youth to like STEM topics, to know that they can be a scientist, engineer, or mathematician, & to value STEM as it pertains to many aspects of their lives. STEMspiration will be tailored to each age group, so that younger children will be more supervised and teens will be allowed more freedom to experiment. Library cards are not needed to attend library programs or use the STEM lab, so students from the entire county are welcome to participate.
